Art with Jacinta

The Year 6 students have been busy working on their Year 6 Art Project.  The 2015 Year 6 Art Project incorporates a tree mural with each student designing a leaf. Each students' leaf had to incorporate different tints, shades and tones of green. The students came back at the start of 2016 to catch up and celebrate the official opening of the Year 6 Art Project. It was an exciting evening. 

This term the Year 1 and 2 students have been exploring portraits, with a focus on cartooning and charactertura. The students have enjoyed learning about the artist, James Rizzi and his bright pop art artworks. They learned how to draw similar facial features like the people in Rizzi's artworks.
