Jungle Paper Sculptures

The Prep students have been learning about the differences between a collage and a sculpture. A collage is flat and can only be viewed from one angle. A sculpture is able to be viewed from different angles.

To make these jungle sculptures the students had to give their strips of paper 'feet' to be able to stand up. Some students put twists in their strips, some did zig zag folds, some even rolled their strips around a pencil to make it curly.

Painted paper...

The Art Room was full of Jungle Paper Sculptures!

Can you spot any tigers hiding in the jungles?
